These Terms and Conditions apply to your use of our website and to every order you place with us. Please read them, together with our Shipping Policy, Refund and Returns Policy and Privacy Policy, before you order. Those policies form part of these terms.

2. Definitions

  • “We”, “us” and “our” mean Metaleap Ltd, trading as Shop Leather Jackets.
  • “You” and “your” mean the person using the website or placing an order.
  • “Goods” means the leather jackets and related products listed on the website.
  • “Business days” means Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays in England and Wales.

3. Eligibility

You must be 18 or over to place an order. By ordering, you confirm that you are 18 or over and that the information you give us is accurate. If we reasonably believe that an order was placed by someone under 18, we may cancel it before dispatch and refund in full.

4. Our Products

Our jackets are made from genuine leather. Each product page states the material, colour, sizing and key features. Product photos are intended to show the item accurately, but screens display colour differently.

Leather is a natural material, so small variations in grain, texture and shade between jackets are normal. These are not faults, as long as the jacket matches its description.

We work hard to keep product information accurate. If a description turns out to be wrong, your rights under section 12 and our Refund and Returns Policy apply.

5. How Your Order Is Prepared and Delivered

Every jacket is prepared in the size you choose. Our current processing time is up to 7 business days from order confirmation. Estimated total delivery time is 10 to 14 business days for the UK and the EU. Full details, including where orders ship from, the carriers we use and customs arrangements, are in our Shipping Policy.

Standard orders made in our standard sizes and designs keep your full 14-day right to cancel. Custom jackets made to your own measurements or design are explained in section 11.

6. Prices

  • All prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP). If you pay in another currency, your card provider may apply its own exchange rate or fees.
  • The price at checkout is the total price you pay. Delivery to the UK and EU is free, and any import duties or taxes are prepaid by us. We never add extra charges after you order.
  • Metaleap Ltd is not currently registered for VAT, so no VAT is charged by us. If this changes, prices and checkout will show VAT as required by law.
  • We may change prices from time to time. A price change never affects an order you have already placed.
  • If we make an obvious pricing error, we will contact you before dispatch. You can then pay the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

7. Payment

Payment is taken when you place your order. We accept:

  • Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover credit and debit cards
  • Apple Pay and Google Pay

Card and wallet payments are processed securely by Stripe. Our website uses an SSL-encrypted (HTTPS) connection. We never see or store your full card details.

8. How the Contract Is Formed

When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy. We will email you an order confirmation when your payment has been received. The contract between us is formed when we send that order confirmation email.

We may decline an order before confirmation, or cancel it before dispatch, only for one of these reasons: the item is unavailable, there is an obvious pricing or description error, we cannot verify your payment, or we reasonably suspect fraud. If we do, we will tell you by email and refund any payment in full within 14 days.

9. Delivery, Risk and Ownership

Delivery is governed by our Shipping Policy. Delivery times are estimates. If we do not deliver within 30 days of order confirmation and no other delivery date has been agreed, you may cancel and receive a full refund.

The jacket is our responsibility until it is delivered to you, or to someone you nominate. Ownership passes to you once we have received full payment.

10. Your Right to Cancel

For standard orders, you may cancel within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving a reason. You can also cancel at any time before dispatch. How to cancel, the returns address, who pays return postage and when you will be refunded are all set out in our Refund and Returns Policy.

11. Custom Leather Jackets

Custom jackets are made to your own measurements, materials or design specifications. Under Regulation 28(1)(b) of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and Article 16(c) of Directive 2011/83/EU, they cannot be cancelled or returned simply because you changed your mind once production has started. We will confirm the specification, price and production time with you before starting. You can cancel for a full refund before production begins.

This does not affect your rights if a custom jacket is faulty, damaged or not made to the agreed specification.

12. Faulty or Misdescribed Goods

If your goods are faulty, damaged, not as described or not what you ordered, your statutory rights apply. We will pay the return postage.

  • UK customers have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. These include a 30-day right to reject for a full refund and, after that, rights to repair, replacement, price reduction or refund.
  • EU customers have the conformity rights given by Directive (EU) 2019/771 and national law, lasting at least two years from delivery.

To report a problem, contact us with your order number, a description and photos.

13. Customer Service and Complaints

We answer all messages by email or WhatsApp within one business day. If something has gone wrong with your order, payment, delivery or refund, please contact us first. We will investigate and aim to resolve it within 14 days.

We are not currently a member of an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) scheme. UK customers can get free advice from Citizens Advice. EU customers can contact the European Consumer Centres Network. Contacting us first never limits your rights, including any rights you have through your card issuer.

14. Our Liability

If we break these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach or our failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any rights you have as a consumer that cannot legally be limited.

We are not responsible for delays caused by events genuinely outside our control, such as severe weather, strikes, carrier failures or government action. If such an event affects your order, we will tell you, and you may cancel for a full refund.

15. Intellectual Property

Website content, including text, images, graphics and logos, is owned by or licensed to Metaleap Ltd. You may use the website for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy or reuse its content without our written permission, except as the law allows.

16. Privacy

We handle your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

17. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you may bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales or the courts of the country where you live. You also keep the protection of any mandatory consumer laws of your country of residence.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one shown on this page when you placed it.
