Frequently Asked Questions
Every product page carries a size chart with chest, shoulder, sleeve and body-length measurements in centimetres and inches. The simplest method is to measure a jacket you already wear well and match those figures to the chart, rather than relying on standard dress sizes. If you land between two sizes, message the team and we will point you to the right one.
Yes. Women’s petite jackets are drafted for frames 5’3″ and under, with shortened sleeves and rebalanced body length. Tall jackets for men and women extend the sleeve and torso. Slim-fit cuts run closer through the body for a sharper line. Each sits on its own pattern block rather than being a scaled version of the standard fit.
Pick a base style, then choose the leather, colour, lining, hardware and your measurements. Start from one of our designs or send a reference image, and we will confirm the build and price before anything goes into production. Send the details through our custom jacket enquiry and the team will take it from there.
Checkout runs through Stripe. You can pay by major credit or debit card — Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. Card details are handled by Stripe and are never stored on our servers. Prices are shown in pounds and include everything payable. For EU orders we ship delivered duty paid, so import VAT and customs duty are settled by us before your jacket arrives. The total you see at checkout is the total you pay.
Every jacket is genuine animal leather: full-grain cowhide, lambskin, sheepskin or split suede, sourced from responsible tanneries. We do not sell bonded leather, polyurethane or synthetic pieces under our brand. Each product page states the leather type and finish, so you can compare one jacket against another on material before you decide.
The catalogue spans black and the full brown family, from tan and cognac to camel, chocolate, coffee and mocha. Beyond that you will find beige, burgundy, grey, maroon, olive green, and brighter shades like red, blue, pink and purple, plus white and off-white. Availability varies by style, and each colour is shown true to the leather on the product page.
Yes, to every UK postcode and all EU member states, free on every order. EU orders ship delivered duty paid, which means import VAT and any customs duty are settled by us before dispatch. Nothing further is payable on delivery and no carrier will contact you for extra charges. You receive tracking as soon as your jacket ships.
Orders are dispatched within 7 business days, and most arrive within 10 to 14 business days in total, depending on your location. Custom builds can take longer, and we confirm the timeline with you before production starts. You will receive tracking as soon as your jacket ships, so you can follow it from dispatch to doorstep.
Hang it on a wide padded hanger in a dry, ventilated spot, away from plastic bags. Wipe marks with a damp cloth and let it air-dry, never near direct heat. Condition full-grain and top-grain leather with a quality balm every few months. Suede and nubuck need a soft brush and a protector spray. Care notes come with every order.
Yes. If you want to stock our jackets or order in volume, we work with retailers and bulk buyers across the UK and EU. Minimum quantities and pricing depend on the styles and quantity you need. Send the details through our custom jacket enquiry page, listing the styles, quantities and your target date, and we will reply with bulk pricing and lead times.
No. All EU orders ship on a delivered duty paid basis, so import VAT and customs duty are paid by us before your jacket reaches you. The price at checkout is the total price. You will not receive a demand from the carrier and nothing is payable on delivery. Free delivery applies to every EU order regardless of value.
With basic care, a well-made leather jacket should last a decade or more. Full-grain cowhide and shearling often outlast that, developing a richer patina with age rather than wearing out. Lambskin is softer and slightly more delicate, but still robust. We include care guidance with every order and can help with conditioning, stains and minor repairs.
You have 14 days from delivery to tell us you are cancelling, and you do not need to give a reason. You then have a further 14 days to send the jacket back. Try it on as you would in a shop. If it comes back worn, altered or damaged beyond that, we may reduce the refund to reflect the loss in value. Return postage is paid by you. Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 14 days of the jacket reaching us.
If a jacket arrives faulty, damaged or not as described, you have 30 days to reject it for a full refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. After 30 days and within six months we will repair or replace it, and if a repair or replacement is not possible or does not work, you are entitled to a full refund. We cover return postage on faulty items. Email us with your order number and photographs and we will arrange the return.
Custom jackets made to measurements or a specification you provide are exempt from the 14-day cancellation right under Regulation 28(1)(b), because they are made for you alone. Selecting a size, colour or style from our standard catalogue is not a custom order, and those jackets carry the full cancellation right. The exemption does not cover faults.
